- Class 6 Admission: Students typically enter Sainik Schools at the 6th grade level through an entrance exam, which tests general knowledge, mathematics, and reasoning.
- Class 9 Admission: Students can also join Sainik Schools in Class 9 if they meet the eligibility criteria, and they must pass the entrance exam that tests subjects like English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Intelligence.
