Online Sainik School

Sainik Schools are a system of public schools in India that prepare students for the National Defence Academy (NDA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and other officer training academies.

The Sainik Schools are managed by a Society, which was registered on 10 Oct 1961, under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The Chief Executive body of the Sainik Schools Society is a Board of Governors, functioning under the Chairmanship of the Defence Minister. 

The schools are involved in imparting quality education and training to Cadets to be a good citizen and prepare them to excel in all works of life. The goal is to create schools that develop national spirit, courage, and respect for country and society. The schools also aim to instill the importance of physical fitness and national pride in students.

Sainik School coaching institutes also offer guidance and support throughout the application process, including filling out forms, preparing for interviews, and navigating the selection procedure. They provide study materials, resources, and personalized attention to cater to the individual needs of students.

Eligible

a) Eligibility criteria for admission to Class VI of Sainik Schools:
A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2024, i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2012 and 31 March 2014 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2024-25. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as boys.

b) Eligibility criteria for Class IX of Sainik Schools of Sainik Schools:
A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2024, for admissionto Class IX, i.e. he should have been born between 01 April 2009 and 31 March 2011 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2024-25.

Admission Procedure (Sainik School Vertical)

Admission is based on an All-India entrance test (AISSEE) or through school-administered entrance examination, comprising Maths, GK (Science & Social Studies), Language and Intelligence for Class VI (10-12 yrs. of age by 31st March of admission-year).

Sainik Schools admit boys & girls in classes VI based on their merit in the Entrance Examination and eCounselling. Qualifying in Medical Examination is a prerequisite.

The prospectus and application form are available in the month of October every year on the school website.

The school offers residential facility is the state-of-the-art A/C dormitories. A comfortable 40 dormitories separately for boys and girls are available.

*All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination is held in the month of January every year.
